Why we leave the best part to you
When instant cake mix arrived in the 1950s it nearly failed. Baking became so effortless that no one felt the cake was theirs. The fix was almost nothing: let the baker add one fresh egg. Suddenly it meant something. That's the whole idea here. We take every step that needs a baker, the parts that go wrong, the parts that take years to learn, and stop one short. The last step, the one that turns a cake into your cake, is yours. It's also the only one worth doing.
Psychologists call it the IKEA effect. We just call it the point.
We do three steps. You do the one that matters.
You design it
Size, flavours, the reason. You brief the cake before it exists, nothing off a shelf.
We do the hard part
A cake baked from scratch, buttercream coloured, everything portioned. Every step that needs a baker, done, and stopped one short on purpose.
You make it yours
At your own table: decorate it, brush, spoon or pipe, whatever you chose, write the name, make it look like the person. A few looks to follow, your tools ready, impossible to get wrong.
You made that
Set it down with your fingerprints all over it, in front of people who'll never guess how easy it was.

Yes, you choose when you order.
How long does the cake keep?
The components are fresh. Keep cool and decorate within 3 days of pickup.
Is it suitable for allergies?
Made in a kitchen that also handles nuts, milk, eggs and gluten. Always check the packaging of any products you add at home.
How far ahead should I order?
Three to five days is ideal. We confirm a pickup day when yours is ready.
