Terms of Use & Purchase
Last updated: 2026-06-08
These terms apply when you use the website and order from Mjuk Lov. They do not affect your mandatory rights as a consumer under Swedish law and EU law.
1. About us
The seller is Mjuk Lov, based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Contact: mjuklov.se@gmail.com.
2. How an order works
Orders are placed as a request. When you submit your cart we receive an enquiry with your wishes. A binding contract is formed only when we confirm your order, with a final price and availability, by email. Prices shown in the cart are estimates until the order is confirmed.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in Swedish kronor (SEK) and include VAT where applicable. Payment is made according to the instructions in our order confirmation. When card payment is enabled, it is handled by our payment provider.
4. Delivery and pickup
- Delivery is within Gothenburg. A delivery fee of 79 kr applies; pickup is free.
- Orders are placed at least 3 days in advance. We confirm the date in the order confirmation.
- You are responsible for providing a correct delivery address and recipient contact details.
5. Right of withdrawal
Under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (2005:59) and EU Directive 2011/83/EU, distance purchases normally carry a 14-day right of withdrawal. However, this right does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, nor to perishable goods or foodstuffs that may deteriorate quickly.
Because our cakes and kits are made to order and are perishable, they are therefore normally not covered by the right of withdrawal. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel; see below.
6. Cancellations and changes
Contact us as soon as possible if you want to change or cancel. Before production begins we will always try to accommodate changes. Once production has started we cannot always offer a refund, since the item is a perishable good made for you.
7. Allergens and food safety
Our kitchen handles gluten, milk, eggs, almonds and hazelnuts, and cross-contamination can occur. We cannot guarantee that a product is entirely free from a given allergen.
You are responsible for informing us of allergies and dietary needs when ordering. Always check the packaging of the products included, as labels can vary between manufacturers.
8. Your account
You are responsible for providing accurate information and for keeping your password secure. Contact us if you suspect unauthorised access.
9. The website and AI assistant
The AI assistant provides suggestions for information purposes and does not replace your own checking of ingredient and allergen information. Never rely on AI answers alone where allergies are concerned. The website may not be used in any unlawful or harmful way.
10. Liability
We are liable to the extent required by mandatory law. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights, such as the right to complain about faulty goods.
11. Complaints and dispute resolution
Contact us at mjuklov.se@gmail.com if there is a problem and we will resolve it. If we cannot agree, you may refer the matter to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), arn.se, whose decisions we follow.
12. Governing law
Swedish law applies to these terms. As a consumer you always retain the protection afforded by the mandatory law of your country of residence.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies is the one published on the website when you place your order.
