Soft chocolate chip cookies

  • butter, melted115 g
  • brown sugar120 g
  • granulated sugar60 g
  • egg1
  • vanilla extract1 tsp
  • all-purpose flour200 g
  • baking soda½ tsp
  • salt¼ tsp
  • chocolate chips150 g
Method

    Mix the melted butter with the sugars, then the egg and vanilla.

    Fold in the flour, baking soda and salt, then the chocolate chips.

    Scoop balls onto a lined tray.

    Bake at 175°C (347°F) for 9–11 minutes until the edges are just coloured.
