Chewy chocolate chip cookies

- granulated sugar100 g
- eggs2
- vanilla extract2 tsp
- all-purpose flour340 g
- baking soda1 tsp
- salt1 tsp

Heat the oven to 190°C (374°F) and line two trays with baking paper.

Beat the butter and both sugars until fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla.

Fold in the flour, baking soda and salt, then the chocolate chips.

Scoop into balls spaced apart and bake 10–12 minutes until the edges are golden but the centres still soft.
