Brownie cookies
A brownie in cookie form: glossy, crackly tops and a chewy, chocolate-dense middle. Watch the video above for the method.

- butter60 g
- eggs3
- granulated sugar150 g
- vanilla extract1 tsp
- all-purpose flour90 g

Melt the chocolate and butter together and let cool slightly.

Whisk the eggs, sugar and vanilla until thick and pale, 3–4 minutes.

Stir in the melted chocolate, then fold in the flour, baking powder and salt.

Scoop onto a lined tray and bake at 175°C (347°F) for 9–11 minutes until the tops crackle.
