Banana bread brownies
Two favourites in one: the soft comfort of banana bread with a brownie's dense chew. Quick to mix, hard to stop eating. Watch the video for the full method.
- mashed ripe bananas3
- butter, melted150 g
- granulated sugar200 g
- eggs2
- vanilla extract1 tsp
- all-purpose flour250 g
- baking powder1 tsp
- salt1 ml

Heat the oven to 175°C (347°F) and grease a pan (about 20×20 cm).

Stir the melted butter and sugar. Add the banana, eggs and vanilla.

Fold in the flour, baking powder and salt until smooth.

Pour into the pan and bake 30–35 minutes until the centre is just set.
