Deluxe kit (20 cm)
The bigger cake, for 10–12 people, with extra height. Same method as Standard, just take your time with the heavier layers.



Method

Unpack the kit and let the sponges and filling come to room temperature.
20 min - 2
Place the first sponge on a plate and spread an even layer of filling. For the 20 cm layers, keep the filling slightly thinner so the cake carries its own height.
6 min - 3
Stack the remaining layers with filling between each. Centre every layer before you press it down.

Cover the cake with the frosting and smooth the surface. Save a little frosting for the bottom edge.

Decorate with the sprinkles and chill for at least 45 minutes; the larger cake needs a little longer to set.

Tips
- Chill the cake for 10 minutes after frosting before decorating; the sprinkles stick better to the firmer surface.
